சங்கீதம் 122

கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குப் போவோம் வாருங்கள் என்று எனக்கு அவர்கள் சொன்னபோது மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருந்தேன்.
A Song of degrees of David. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

எருசலேமே, உன் வாசல்களில் எங்கள் கால்கள் நிற்கலாயிற்று.
Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

எருசலேம் இசைவிணைப்பான நகரமாய்க் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

அங்கே இஸ்ரவேலுக்குச் சாட்சியாகக் கர்த்தருடைய ஜனங்களாகிய கோத்திரங்கள் கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தை ஸ்தோத்திரிப்பதற்குப் போகும்.
Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

அங்கே தாவீதின் வம்சத்தாருடைய சிங்காசனங்களாகிய நியாயாசனங்கள் வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

எருசலேமின் சமாதானத்துக்காக வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; உன்னை நேசிக்கிறவர்கள் சுகித்திருப்பார்களாக.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7
உன் அலங்கத்திற்குள்ளே சமாதானமும், உன் அரமனைகளுக்குள்ளே சுகமும் இருப்பதாக.
Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8
என் சகோதரர் நிமித்தமும் என் சிநேகிதர் நிமித்தமும், உன்னில் சமாதானம் இருப்பதாக என்பேன்.
For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
9
எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் ஆலயத்தினிமித்தம் உனக்கு நன்மையுண்டாகத் தேடுவேன்.
Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
